Julie Ntsekhe appointed as Vice President: Environment, Safety and Governance | Logistics Africa

Imperial is pleased to announce the appointment of Julie Ntsekhe to the position of Vice President: Environment, Safety and Governance for Logistics Africa, effective 1 August 2021.

Julie joins Imperial from Tiger Brands, where she held the position of Risk and Environmental Sustainability Director. Her previous roles include Manufacturing Business Process Lead at Anglo Vaal Industries; World Class Manufacturing Manager at Tetra Pak SA; as well as Manufacturing Development Specialist and Packaging Unit Manager at South African Breweries.

She is skilled in operations management, supply chain optimisation and implementation of process improvement methods. Julie is a strong business process development professional who has participated in global plenaries and presented at conferences for sustainability and risk management in the supply chain industry.

Julie holds a BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master in Business Leadership degree, as well as various qualifications in energy efficiency and sustainability, organisational leadership, business risk management, and advanced human resource management. She is also a certified Energy Manager and has participated in an Executive Development Programme and in the Prince of Wales Sustainability Leadership Programme.
